I’ve been seeing the same thing, and I just succumbed myself, though my living room won’t accommodate something quite so large. I just ordered this, and it’s supposed to be delivered Monday.

Nice! I vowed I wouldn’t take the plunge until sets were in the $500 range, but screw it. Now maybe I’ll build a HTPC box.

I’m just gonna get a mini-DVI to HDMI cable and plug my MacBook into it, and use Front Row for now. If that works well, I might get a Mini Mac as a dedicated box.

You’re right. I just dropped my desktop res down to 640×480. Resolution is totally overrated.
